Superintendent's Message
Raymond H. Blanch
I would like to personally welcome you to one of the finest school districts in Colorado – Lewis-Palmer School District 38.
Our community is proud of our accomplishments and our strong history – 135 years of education dating back to 1874. Since that time, District 38 has grown from a few one-room schools serving a small number of children to nine campuses serving over 5,000 students. And throughout our history, one of the cornerstones of our District has been the personalized learning experience our students receive. We combine the benefits of a small community with state-of-the-art instruction – providing our students with the skills necessary to find success in the 21st Century.
The intent of our website is to provide our parents, students, staff, community members, and other site visitors with up-to-date information about our District programs and to clearly communicate our goals and mission for the District. Over the past few years, our community has partnered with District 38 personnel to develop a new 2020 Strategic Vision for our students. We are excited about this undertaking and the new direction it is taking our District. Please take a moment to read the document and the accompanying action plans developed by each school site to learn more about our District vision.
In District 38, our students, staff, parents, and community members play vital roles in our continued success, and we are proud to share their exciting achievements and involvement. Lewis-Palmer District 38 is one of the top-performing districts in our state, and our academic, athletic, and artistic programs are among the best Colorado has to offer.
I am proud of the success we have achieved in Lewis-Palmer, and I am thankful for the opportunity to be a part of the lives of our youth each day. It is an honor to serve our school and community and to be part of this amazing organization.
Thank you for your continued support, and I look forward to the many exciting opportunities ahead.
Sincerely,
